DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A beautiful medium to large sized original oil painting of A CAPE WEST COAST COTTAGE. Painted by the listed and accomplished South African artist HANSIE POTGIETER (b 1942). The painting is done on hardboard and it is has been newly framed in a very good quality dark frame with inner frame. The artist has signed the artwork at bottom right and the artwork is not dated, but dates from the 1960s / 70s. The artwork measures 550 x 850 mm in the frame and the artwork alone measures 400 x 700 mm. You can see the painting as it is sold in the image above. There are four more images and further particulars below. Please have a look at them and ask a question if there is anything you are unsure about.
CONDITION	Both the artwork and frame are in very good condition and it can be hung as is.

A lovely artwork depicting a typically South African West Coast scene by an accomplished and popular artist. It is offered here at a low starting bid. It is suggested that you research the artist and his works on the internet if this artwork interests you.
