Happy Koi Fish Auction

Tancho Showa. 35 cm. Breeder Sekiguchi. ?Female?

If we had to guess this Koi is female at a 70/30 probability. A lightly (for now) sumi pattern on the Koi is offset on the excellent white background and the perfect Tancho (red dot) head marking is amazing. There is still plenty of sumi (black) to come on this Koi (the Koi has excellent motoguru - black in the pectoral fins) and we can already see hints of it on and near the head which will result in the Showa menware pattern of black zipping across the head. very much a work in progress this is an exceptional Koi that you can enjoy for many years to come and we would expect it to do very well at Koi shows in the future. Simply stunning.
