The style of the painting is very impressionistic, the paint thickly applied with a painting knife. The scene is a harbour with the city as backdrop, any city with a harbour will do. A close up view will show only blobs of paint, the scene becoming clear from a distance. This is an original oil painting of high standard. A certificate of authenticity will be supplied with the painting.

A self-taught artist, Estelle has been painting professionally for twenty-four years. As a painter she strives to grow and develop in her work. To achieve this, she is constantly taking on new challenges regarding style and subject matter. The result is that she is one of South Africa’s most versatile living artists today.

Although everything possible has been done to recreate precision in every detail, the image may differ slightly in colour and intensity to the original painting. This painting will cost about R6000 when sold in a gallery.
