Hard Red Winter Wheat is grown for the great milling and baking characteristics for wheat foods like, pan breads, hard rolls, croissants and flatbreads, it is also used for some types of Asian noodles and general purpose flour.
Ideally grown in colder temperatures between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius, it can tolerate a low temperature of 4 degrees Celsius and does not tolerate higher temperatures than 31 degrees Celsius.
