A lovely bit of South African theatre history.

The book itself is a hardback with no dust wrapper and underlining of the text in places. It's intrinsic interest is it's bookplate of and inscription by, Anna Neethling-Pohl.

Anna Neethling- Pohl (1906-1992) was a South African actress and author. She performed in over 50 stage works and lead roles, half of which were indigenous Afrikaans dramas. Pohl translated 7 Shakespeare plays into Afrikaans and in addition wrote plays and novels.
