Gas cylinders and skottles are pretty much standard at any outdoor event but to work well the skottle should be level. If you are like us you start scratching around to find the most level piece of ground you can find. Here is an inexpensive way to deal with the problem - "Hassle Free" gas cylinder levelers.
How they work:
The basis is that a tripod cannot rock. The three stands clip onto the base of your cylinder and have adjustable feet. We suggest you put some liquid into the skottle (cooking oil, water) which you use as a spirit level. Adjust the feet until the liquid is level in the skottle and away you go. These should work with any cylinder, all it needs is to be able to drop into the slot in the leveler.
Supplied in a pack of 3
A really neat South African product.
