With WinTV-PVR-150 you can:

WinTV-PVR-150 puts TV watching under your control! Watch TV on your PC screen, in a window or full screen), digitally record your TV shows to your PCs hard disk and play them back at any time, or pause live TV and create your own instant replay.
Create your own Personal Video Recorder! Record TV programmes or home videos to disk and play the recordings back to your PC screen. A typical one hour TV show will use 1.5 gigabytes of disk space.
WinTV-PVR-150's pause feature gives you personal "instant replay" to stop the action when you want to analyze a key scene. Instantly rewind and replay the action again.

Are you using Windows XP Media Center Edition? If so, add up to two WinTV-PVR-150, so you can watch one TV channel while recording another!
Technically speaking WinTV-PVR-150 contains a highly integrated hardware MPEG-1/2 hardware encoder, plus a high quality integrated single chip video/audio digitizer. WinTV-PVR-150 can record to your PC’s hard disk full screen video (full D1) from TV or an external A/V sourcer, at data rates from 2.5M to 12Mbits/sec (8 standard profiles are supported, plus custom).

- IR remote control transmitter (to control you set top box, ie DSTV )

Please note: The original packaging(box) & Cd rom is not included. Just the PVR tv-card, Remote, Ir Receiver and Emitter(IR Blaster)
However i will include the drivers for the PVR card & IR Blaster to work in Media Centre. Will also provide 3rd party software if you choose to use it without the Media Centre Application of Windows.
