A Premium SMSis an SMS that a person sends from their phone to a short code (e.g.34110; 35050).The sender is charged R2.00 for that message. Normallycompanies use this as competition lines, although it can also be used forvoting polls and retrieving information from potential clients.

Recipients sendingthe message will receive a confirmation SMS which can becustomized. Theconfirmation is included as part of the premium SMS package.
Themessages sent to the short codes are charged at R2-00per SMS, youwillbe paid out R0.35 for every Vodacom or CellC sms received andR0.30 forevery MTN message received.

The price isR169.00 per year, this is a once off annual fee, there are no monthlycosts, bills, invoices etc, just this annual payment,and upon completionof the first year, you may decide whether or not to renew.
