The HD PVR can be installed on its own or be used as extraview by adding a 1131 or 1110 singleview decoder to it to enable the viewing of 2 different channels while recording a third. The HD 2 P Pvr can also be added to the old SD PVR which will allow the user to view 3 channels at once and record a further 2. All this at NO ADDITIONAL MONTHLY COST TO MULTICHOICE!!!!!

Best of all, you dont need to have an expensive plasma or lcd tv to make use of the HD PVR. That only gets necessary when you want to view in HD format.
