The decoder was purchased at an auction (factory sealed at the time).
Item Condition:Practically new. Took it out of the box on 2 occasions to switch it on (using the included HDMI cable). Box has everything that came with it (see pics).
Please note I am offering a Repair Warranty subject to the following conditions:
1. It is valid for 14 days from the day after receipt.
2. It covers manufacturing-related defects only.
3. Subject to all other warranty conditions as stated in pages 18 and 19 (Product Warranty section) of the product guide (basically what the manufacturer covers, excluding replacements and refunds).
Returns info:
Should the buyer experience any problems within the first 14 days of receiving the DStv HD PVR Decoder, the buyer will be required to ship (at buyers cost) the entire package back to me. If the defect is found to be a manufacturing-related issue then I will get the item repaired and ship it back, all at my cost. If the defect is not manufacturing-related then the buyer will be responsible for the cost of repairs (should you require me to get it repaired) and buyer will pay shipping costs to return it back to them.
Shipping/Delivery info:
Shipping, and insurance if required, is the buyers cost (non-refundable). I will be using InternetExpress for delivery (door to door), unless buyer requests a different courier.
The dimensions of the box is roughly (LxWxH) 35cm x 48cm x 14cm, 5kg (give this to your preferred courier to get a quote of shipping costs). Note the terms and conditions of the courier service (e.g. some couriers might offer insurance for 2nd hand items and some might not).
If the buyer is Durban-based and wants to save on shipping, then I will consider meeting (at a day and location that I’m comfortable with).
No pickups/collections, sorry.
Payment info:
Direct deposit, EFT. No COD. Payment must be made within 48 hours from close of auction. Please note I only ship once funds have cleared.
