Benefits from using this HDMI Extender
1) CAT-5e / CAT-6 cabling can fit into smaller areas than HDMI because of the head size of the cable.
2) Transmission distance can be up to 30 meters (1080P) and 45 meters (720p). For general HDMI cables, cables must be customized when the length is over 10 meters.
FEATURES
-One Sender & One Receiver module, no need for configuration.
-Use CAT-5e / CAT-6 cable to substitute HDMI cable to achieve long distance transmission.
-Follow the standard of IEEE-568B.
-Transmission distance reaches up to 30 meters (1080P) and 45 meter 1080i/720p.
-Auto-adjustment of feedback, equalization and amplify, the user does not need to care about the length of the cable.
-Compact size.
-Signaling rates up to 2.25Gbits in support of 1080P display.
-Each port supports HDMI or DVI inputs.
-HDCP compliant.
CONNECT AND OPERATE
1) Connect the HDMI input sources such as HD-DVD, PS3, STB etc. into the device through HDMI.
2) Connect two CAT-5e / CAT-6 cables to both the outputs of the sender device and inputs of receiver.
3) Connect the HDMI output(such as : HD-LCD;HD-DLP)into the receiver module.
4) Plug the power into the receiver module.

User Manual
This item conforms to the HDMI v1.3 specifications described in the section. In general for Blu-ray HDMI v1.0 is required as a minimum and for PS3 / Xbox 360 HDMI v1.2 is recommended as a minimum. HDMI v1.3 exceeds both HDMI v1.0 and v1.2 specifications.
The HDMI Extender extends your HDTV display up to 30 Meters (1080P) / 45 Meters (720p) away from your HDTV source using two CAT-5e / CAT-6 cables. Includes both Transmitter and Receiver units. These Extenders can be cascaded to reach unlimited transmission lengths e.g to double the maximum length specification of the extender connect another HDMI Extender set. If you need to extend your HDMI signal for less than 20 meters and the cable does not run through conduit (which has limited space for the HDMI connector on a standard cable) we recommend that you use an HDMI Inlne Repeater / Extender. Unshielded Twisted Pair is only recommended up to 25 meters and for installations > 25 meters Shielded Twisted Pair cabling is recommend to prevent signal drops.
HDMI CABLES AND EQUIPMENT SHOULD NEVER BE CONNECTED / DISCONNECTED WHILE YOUR EQUIPMENT IS POWERED ON SINCE THE HDMI PORT CARRIES A LOW VOLTAGE BUT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT WHEN PLUGGED / UNPLUGGED WHILE POWERED ON.
Note that if any other devices such as a video / audio HDMI Receiver / Amplifier is used between any HDMI Distribution equipment e.g switch, spitter, extender, equalizer the equipment needs to support the HDCP Repeater Bit. The HDCP Repeater bit is a part of the High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection specification and applies to intermediate devices between the source device and the display. If an intermediate device is used but any of the components do not support the repeater bit, the HDCP encrypted connection will fail to pass video content.
The specification defines repeater devices:
HDCP Repeater. An HDCP Device that can receive and decrypt HDCP Content through one or more of its HDCP-protected Interface Ports, and can also re-encrypt and emit said HDCP Content through one or more of its HDCP-protected Interface Ports, is referred to as an HDCP Repeater. An HDCP Repeater may also be referred to as either an HDCP Receiver or an HDCP Transmitter when referring to either the upstream side or the downstream side, respectively.
Notice
1. In order to achieve the high transmission quality ,please choose the shielded CAT-5e or CAT-6 cable
2. These extenders have been tested up to 20 Meters on 1080p with 100% quality and no signal problems with Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) CAT6 cables with no electrical interference near the cables.
3. The cables with lower quality will not achieve the perfect transmission effect and long distance
4. Theoretically the function of the product is normal when adopt short distance transmission. If the product cannot transmit long distance, this is to say, there are quality problems in the transmission cables
No HDMI / CAT-5e / CAT-6 cables are included with this product and must be purchased separately.
