The recommended maximum HDMI cable length is 15m. This length however depends on various factors such as the quality of the HDMI cable and the HDMI source device itself.
Where the HDMI cables exceeds the capability of the display device (TV) to clearly display the signal, this HDMI Repeater (Signal Booster) offers a very cost effective solution.
The HDMI Repeater is an 'inline' device and very simple to install and requires no external power (powered via the HDMI cable itself). Remove the long HDMI cable from the TV, Monitor or projector and connect it to the HDMI Repeater input. Then connect the output of the Repeater to the TV input via a short HDMI cable.
The HDMI Repeater will extend the maximum length of an HDMI cable to +/-30m. The limits may be 1x 30m or inserted inline between 2x 15m cables.
Units supports Full HD (1920 x 1200) 1080p.
