HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a compact audio/video interface for transferring uncompressed video data and compressed/uncompressed digital audio data from a HDMI-compliant device ("the source device") to a compatible computer monitor, video projector, digital television, or digital audio device. HDMI is a digital replacement for existing analog video standards.

This HDMI to HDMI+Audio Converter / Splitter is a perfect solution for amplifiers, receivers and sound bars which do not have HDMI inputs, and suitable for various HDMI source devices that do not have dedicated audio output.

Note: External power required via an external hardware device with a USB output. Micro USB cable included.
The volume of the TV needs to be turned off else an echo will be experienced due to a few milliseconds of audio lag.
