Heat Powered Fan (High Flow Rate)

The Heat Powered Stove Fan is a must have for South Africans that don't want to be bothered by looming power outages or gas shortages this winter.

These clever little devices is an excellent addition to any stove which has a smooth and hot flat surface, such as wood burning stoves, coal stoves, pellet stoves and gas stoves.

The fans convert heat to electrical power which drives the fan and is therefore unaffected by power outages. Whenever the stove is hot the blower will run. Being completely wireless it is easy to remove or reposition.

The most powerful and effective heat powered fan design. Due to the design it is able to create the largest temperature difference over its Peltier element enabling it to move the most air. As a result it is not the most silent but this fan is very effective.

Each of the fans is fitted with a thermal sensitive plate which lifts the base when temperatures exceed maximum working conditions. 

The fan gets its power from a Peltier element that is used in reverse, i.e. it is generating electricity from the heat given off from the stove top. The Peltier element generates electricity through the difference in temperature. The base must make contact with a heat source of at least 85°C and the top of the fan must remain cool. For optimal use the fans needs to draw cooler air from behind in order to operate effectively.
