HEAVY VINTAGE 'VERSIL' ITALIAN STERLING SILVER OPENWORK
HEART PENDANT NECKLACE WITH CRYSTAL DETAIL. 925. 

This simple Italian sterling silver necklace is 46,5 cm long and features a whimsical sterling silver heart pendant measuring 22mmm long and 19mm wide. The pendant is a slightly elongated heart in polished sterling silver with a large cut-out of a heart inside it. It is thicker at the top than the bottom, and has a little bit of 'bling' in the form of a small, round faceted (crystal) in the top right corner. Italian silver is particularly bright and 'white' and known for its quality. The bale is positioned on the top of one of the heart upper curves so that the pendant hangs at a quirky angle on the chain. Weighing a solid 6,87 grams, the necklace bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver and the provenance 'Versil'. it is a vintage piece but the condition is very good. Only a few buff marks to speak of its age! Pretty, simple and modern - and rather well made.
