LOVELY FRESHWATER PEARL Y-SHAPED NECKLACE
SET IN STERLING SILVER. PRETTY! 925

This piece has a really interesting setting - 16 real freshwater pearls are held in half moon collars of sterling silver decorated with small bright white stones, which add a hint of sparkle without detracting from the natural glowing beauty of the real freshwater pearls. The necklace is Y-shaped, with a dangle of three pearls - the 'c' of sparkling stones alternate on the sides of the first two pearls, and then the focal point - a larger pearl - is haloed by a collar at the top. At a heavy 18,25 grams and being Y-shaped, the necklace hangs beautifully. The necklace is 46cm stretched out, with the dangle hanging an additional 4,5cm down. A small pearl has also been added to the extender chain at the back of the necklace near the clasp, finishing off the piece beautifully. The hallmark of 925 appears, indicating genuine sterling silver. Pearls are suddenly very fashionable right now, and this is a rather nice piece of classic jewellery with a truly sumptuous air.
