VINTAGE TURQUOISE, SAPPHIRE AND CITRINE STERLING SILVER RING. 925 A HEAVY 10,80g!
Turquoise has been a stone that has been prized for many years. This is a gorgeous sterling silver ring featuring an oval turquoise centre cabochon surrounded by sapphires. The turquoise sits on a 13mm high raised ring head, and is surrounded by a beautiful detailed triangle shaped border, with round cut bezel set 2 x yellow citrines, and 4 x sapphires ( 2 x blue, 2 x orange ) spaced in between the triangles. The shank is quite wide, and is decorated with further raised flower designs. Weighing in at 10,80 grams, it's a substantial piece of jewellery. A strong and beautiful piece, with great colour and fascinating design details. I really don't know much about it except that is came from a favourite vintage jewellery collector in the States who favours navajo jewellery. This is not a navajo piece but it is a vintage piece with a very interesting air to it! The ring is hallmarked with '925' for sterling silver.
