Heller France Mirage F1 Model Kit from 1970s Boxed and Package Sealed

A VINTAGE BOXED PLANE MODEL KIT BY HELLERS OF THE FRENCE MIRAGE F1. IN ORIGINAL BOX. PACKAGE STILL SEALED INSIDE.

The Dassault Mirage F1 is a French twin-engine, swept-wing, Mach 2+ capable fighter and attack aircraft designed by Dassault Aviation. Produced from the 1970s to 1980s, it served in roles including air superiority, interception, attack, and reconnaissance for several air forces, notably France, Iran, Morocco, and Spain. It features a single SNECMA Atar 9K-50 turbojet engine, a powerful afterburner, and possesses excellent lift augmentation, allowing for short takeoffs and landings while reaching speeds up to Mach 2+.

Heller Model Kits, founded in 1957 by the French company Heller S.A., quickly became a prominent name in the model kit industry. One of their most notable early releases was the 1/72 Scale Lockheed Constellation, which showcased Heller's commitment to detail and accuracy. Today, Heller remains a respected name in the modeling community, celebrated for its rich history and dedication to quality. Headquartered in Trun, France, the company uses tissue paper for packaging its kits, which it claims is environmentally friendly and increases the recyclability of its products.
