The strength of which individual fly components are tyed to the hook are influenced by the tying thread elasticity. The Elastic tying thread is useful not only as a binding thread, but also as a thread for body making. Fly bodies are very easily formed with this material, and the shade range, being rather wide, is suitable for this purpose.
