Painting is 56 x 44 cm.

Frame is 74 x 63 cm.

Excellent condition. Ready to hang on your wall.

Beautiful detail, carefully painted.  A wonderful mid-century period piece.

The artist was born in 1893 in Pretoria and died in Johannesburg in 1972.

Studied under his father John Frederick Dykman, senior.  Is the brother of John Frederick Dykman, junior and is also the uncle of Jeanette Dykman.

All of them were flower painters!!

In 1952 he was the peak if his ability. He had solo exhibitions in 1952, 1953, and 1954 at the Pieter Wenning Gallery, Johannesburg.

He is represented in numerous galleries and collections.
