ON AUCTION IS A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE MID 20TH CENTURY ENAMELLED BRACELET. IT IS HANDMADE AND FEATURES HERALDIC COAT OF ARMS MANY WITH A LION RAMPANT IN THE CENTER.
 
A Lion Rampant is a heraldic symbol of a lion standing on its hind legs in a striking pose, and it is most famously the Royal Banner of Scotland. The banner, which features a red lion within a double-bordered, yellow field, is historically the official flag of the Scottish monarch and is now used by the British monarch in Scotland. 
 
It was the flag of the King of Scots for centuries and is the royal standard, distinct from the national flag of Scotland (the Saltire). As there hasn't been a Scottish King or Queen since the 17th century, it is now the official banner of the British monarch in Scotland, which is Queen Elizabeth II. 
 
The "lion rampant" is a common heraldic pose for a lion and used across various coats of arms of European countries and provinces.

CONDITION: ENAMEL IN GOOD CONDITION. NOTE IT IS MARKED 9CT ON JUMP BRACKET BUT THIS WAS TESTED AND IS NOT GOLD.
