DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	This is a medium sized and very beautiful original oil painting depicting a BUSHVELD LANDSCAPE WITH A STREAM by South African artist Hettie van Niekerk. The artist has not dated it, but the original period frame indicates that it was probably painted in the 1970s. It is painted on artist board (hardboard covered in treated canvass) and framed in a white painted wooden frame with inner frame. The painting (with frame) measures 57.5 x 67.5 cm and the artwork alone measures 40 x 50 cm. You can see the painting as it is sold in the image above. CONDITION	This artwork is in very good condition and it can be hung as is.

NOTES
A really beautiful painting with a typical South African scene done by a very skilful artist. The frame is somewhat old fashioned and a modern broad frame should show the artwork off better than the present one.
