These are the old-fashioned style of Coral Bells, grown for their bright display of flowers in early summer. This strain forms a compact mound of rounded deep-green leaves, bearing upright wands of showy ruby-red bells. Excellent for cutting. Flowers are attractive for birds. Terrific for edging, in the rock garden, or in tubs. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Remove any brown or ugly leaves in the spring. Plan to divide carefully every 3 to 4 years to maintain vigour.
