Instead of the usual glossy shellac polish all surfaces have been treated with wax in order to enhance the beauty of the natural wood veining. Wax finish is less prone to heat damages and makes it much easier to remove scratches and bruises, too.

The keyboard has 39 keys and thus supplies a tonal range of 3 octaves. Double reeds ensure that every note is equipped with two reeds (for medium and lower octave). Three registers with different settings make various timbres possible by blowing the reeds either separately or together. If you want to have more drones then the available three ones, you can also make do with a piece of paper or a sharpened match (or half a clothes peg) stuck into the respective key or you can remove the self-adjusting springs on the back of the keys.
