Spa cup is a special shape of porcelain cup, with a spout leading from low in the body. They are used to drink mineral or thermal water directly from the spring. According to the Czechs, spa cups were developed in north west Bohemia in the spa region in the 17th century around the well known spas such as Karlovy, Marianske Lazne and Jachymov. I cannot date this spa cup as when researching the stamp underneath, the factory cannot be found on Google or Pinterest.
