Hikvision 2MP 2.8mm Turbo HD Bullet Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CE16D0T-EXIPF 2 MP Fixed Mini Bullet Camera (2.8 mm) is a wired analogue CCTV camera for homes, shops, offices and other residential or commercial surveillance installations. Its 2.8 mm fixed lens gives you broad scene coverage, making it particularly useful for entrances, driveways, passages and general perimeter monitoring. It combines Full HD video, infrared night imaging and flexible analogue video compatibility in a compact outdoor-rated housing.

Key Features

• Clear Full HD surveillance. The 2 MP CMOS sensor captures video at up to 1920 × 1080 resolution, providing useful detail for everyday property monitoring.
• Night coverage up to 20 metres. Infrared illumination allows the camera to continue monitoring when ambient light drops, with Smart IR helping manage illumination at night.
• Works with multiple analogue video formats. The video output can be switched between TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS, giving installers more flexibility when matching the camera to a compatible DVR.
• Built for exposed installations. The IP67-rated housing provides protection against dust and water, making the camera suitable for indoor or outdoor CCTV positions when correctly installed.
• Handles difficult lighting more effectively. Digital WDR and backlight compensation help retain usable detail where bright and dark areas appear in the same scene.
• Cleaner everyday video. 2D digital noise reduction, automatic white balance, gain control and adjustable sharpness help maintain a more consistent image across changing conditions.

Did You Know?

• The 2.8 mm version gives you a noticeably wider view than the 3.6 mm version of the same camera. Hikvision specifies a 96.5° horizontal field of view for the 2.8 mm lens compared with 76.9° for the 3.6 mm option, so this version is better suited to covering a broader area from one position.
• Although the mounting position can be adjusted through 360° pan, 90° tilt and 360° rotation, this is a fixed camera rather than an electronic PTZ camera. Those adjustments are made when positioning the camera during installation rather than remotely after installation.
• The camera's 0 Lux specification applies when its infrared illumination is operating. In complete darkness it uses infrared night imaging rather than relying on available ambient light.

Compatibility & App Support

This is a wired analogue camera, not an IP or Wi-Fi camera. It provides switchable TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS video output and requires a compatible video input together with a 12 V DC power source. The camera does not connect directly to a mobile app or network, so any remote viewing functionality depends on the DVR or recorder used with it. Hikvision also lists the DS-1280ZJ-XS junction box as an optional compatible accessory.
