Hikvision 4-Channel 1080p Lite Turbo HD DVR

The Hikvision DS-7104HGHI-M1 Turbo HD DVR is a compact 4-channel hybrid recorder for homes, small businesses and installers upgrading or expanding an existing coaxial CCTV system. It accepts HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, CVBS and compatible IP cameras, allowing different camera technologies to operate from the same recorder. Motion Detection 2.0 helps separate human and vehicle activity from common nuisance movement, while H.265 Pro+ compression makes more efficient use of the installed hard drive.

Key Features

• Focuses attention on people and vehicles. Motion Detection 2.0 uses deep-learning classification across the analogue channels to identify human and vehicle movement, helping reduce events caused by leaves, changing light and other irrelevant motion.
• Works with several CCTV camera formats. Four BNC inputs support compatible HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and traditional CVBS cameras, making the DVR useful when upgrading an existing analogue installation without replacing every camera at once.
• Supports long coaxial cable runs. Hikvision specifies HDTVI transmission distances of up to 1,200 metres for a 720p signal, making this model suitable for installations where cameras may be positioned a considerable distance from the recorder.
• Can expand into an IP-based setup. The recorder supports an IP camera channel and can be configured for up to five compatible IP camera inputs when analogue channels are reassigned.
• Makes better use of hard-drive space. H.265 Pro+ compression reduces the storage required for recorded footage compared with older video compression formats, helping extend retention time on the fitted drive.
• Carries audio over compatible coaxial cameras. Audio-over-coax support can reduce the need for separate audio cabling when used with suitable HDTVI equipment, while RCA audio input and output are also provided.
• Lets you monitor remotely. Connect the DVR to your network through its Ethernet port and use Hik-Connect for compatible remote viewing and recorder access from a smartphone.
• Choose storage to suit your system. One internal SATA connection supports a surveillance hard drive of up to 4 TB, allowing storage capacity to be matched to the camera count and recording schedule.

Did You Know?

• A "4-channel DVR" does not necessarily mean the recorder can only work with four cameras in every configuration. By converting analogue channels to IP operation, this model can support up to five IP camera inputs.
• The DVR supports simultaneous HDMI and VGA output at resolutions up to 1920 × 1080. This makes it possible to connect both output types locally, although they operate as simultaneous outputs rather than independent monitor channels.
• A hard drive is not built into the recorder as standard. This lets you select the surveillance HDD capacity appropriate to your required recording period instead of paying for storage that may not suit the installation.

Compatibility & App Support

Compatible with Hik-Connect for supported remote live viewing and recorder access. The DVR connects to your network through a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and supports compatible IP cameras up to 2 MP using H.265+, H.265, H.264+ or H.264. It does not have built-in PoE camera ports or built-in Wi-Fi, so network cameras require their own suitable network connection and power source.
