Built for outdoor environments, the DS-PDMCX-E-WE features an IP66-rated, UV-stable housing that helps protect the detector against dust, water, and harsh weather conditions. Its robust design makes it suitable for outdoor security installations where standard indoor magnetic contacts are not suitable.
The detector provides reliable opening detection with a maximum detection gap of up to 76mm, making it ideal for larger outdoor openings where a wider magnet gap may be required. Front and rear tamper protection helps alert the system if the device is opened, removed, or interfered with.
Using Hikvision Tri-X wireless technology, the DS-PDMCX-E-WE provides secure two-way wireless communication with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping to help resist interference and jamming.
