Hikvision DS-PDP18-HM Wired Double PIR Detector
The Hikvision DS-PDP18-HM is a wired double passive infrared detector designed for indoor and outdoor intrusion detection. It provides an 18 m detection range, a 90° detection angle and flexible high- or low-level mounting, making it suitable for protecting a variety of residential and commercial areas.
Automatic sensitivity, digital temperature compensation and sealed optics support dependable operation across changing environmental conditions. Its IP65-rated enclosure, selectable end-of-line resistors and reverse-polarity protection also help simplify outdoor installation and integration with compatible wired alarm systems.
Flexible Detection Coverage
The detector covers distances of up to 18 m across a 90° field of view, with 118 detection zones and support for detectable movement speeds from 0.3 to 2 m/s. Automatic and pet sensitivity options allow the detector to be configured for the requirements of the installation.
High- or Low-Level Installation
The DS-PDP18-HM can be wall-mounted at a height of 2.5 to 3 m or installed at a lower height of 0.8 to 1.2 m. This flexibility helps installers adapt its position to the layout and security requirements of the protected area.
Designed for Indoor and Outdoor Use
An IP65-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water ingress for suitable outdoor applications. The detector operates in temperatures from -25 °C to 70 °C and includes digital temperature compensation, sealed optics and a 2,000 lux white-light filter.
Practical Wired Integration
Selectable end-of-line resistance values are provided for alarm and tamper circuits, helping the detector accommodate different wired alarm configurations. Front and rear tamper protection, a normally closed alarm output and separate alarm and fault indication provide useful installation and diagnostic support.
