Hardcover Quarto bound in original green cloth boards, Gilt titles on the front board and faded gilt titling to the spine. No dust-wrapper; Cloth very slightly worn. Very good condition. A series of sketches of East African animals with such chapter titles as 'Chui the leopard' 'Zimba the lion king' Baki the buffalo' and 'Twega the curious'. The monochrome photographic plates are very evocative, photos by H. Bosch. The date of publication has been obtained from the British Library catalogue.
