As an artist, I've always been fascinated by the majesty and resilience of trees. When I started painting them, I became more observant of their presence and appearance, realizing that each tree is unique, with its own character and story to tell.
This series is inspired by the baobab trees, stripped of their leaves, revealing their true structure and vulnerabilities. I'm captivated by the way these ancient beings, some hundreds of years old, remain steadfast in one spot, enduring the harsh elements of nature.
In this series of abstract mixed media trees, I aim to capture the essence of these trees, highlighting their intricate branch patterns, rugged trunks, and the delicate balance between strength and fragility.
Each piece in this series is a testament to the individuality of these natural wonders, inviting the viewer to contemplate their own resilience and unique beauty.
