His Masters Voice Gramophone model HMV130. This gramophone is in working order and still plays records beautifully. This model gramophone dates from the mid 1930's. Inside the lid is a plaque reading A.R.Glen. This company operated in Church street in Pretoria from the 1920's. The grille was replaced by wooden slat louvres and some wooden strips have been added to the cabinet. Included is a tin of Trek needles as well as 30 assorted records that can be played on this gramophone. It is an ideal candidate for a sympathetic restoration or use it as it is. I have had it in my office at work this past week and it has attracted a lot of attention.
