A fascinating concept by  David Rhind and Michael Walker! First (limited) edition hardcover with printed boards published 1996 and signed by Michael Walker.  The book recalls some of the typical railway journeys between  1896 and 1912. Illustrated with hundreds of postcards from the author's collection and a South African Railway fold-out map dated 1904. Very good condition, spine sunned as per pictures.
