ON AUCTION: 1 X Hitler`s Personal Dining Wagon 10 242 on the Führersonderzug serving Tray. Deutsche Reichsbahn.

Oval serving tray. In German heavy silver plated Alpaka produced by Bruckmann for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Sonderzugs.
Platter carries designation marks for Adolf Hitlers Fuhurersonderzug, and in particular carriage number 242 which was Hitlers dining wagon.
The tray is accentuated with a raised rounded band edge to the obverse and features a fantastic and finely detailed Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle with wreathed Swastika straddled by the letters D and R all in relief to the center top rim. To the reverse is found the stamped Bruckmann train makers mark, followed by ALPAKA indicating heavy silver plate, and then the impressed number 242 indicating the wagon number.

CONDITION: GOOD AS PER PHOTO REPORT. UNPOLISHED . 35 CM LONG X 25 CM WIDE X 3 CM DEEP. 850 GRAMS.
