HMV or Universal Pick Up Head No. 185 - NOS

Here we have a HMV or Universal Pick Up Head for an old record player.

It is a little confusing as the papers say HMV but the box and small sticker on the head have Universal. Possibly item in wrong box.

The model is No. 185 (on box) There is a number underneath but someone in opening the box tore through it. The paper inside says it will fit the HMV standard tone arm No 4. Another paper inside says HMV Sound Box No 5.

Looks like New Old Stock. Yellowed from age, I honestly cant say if it has seen use or not.

Providence - Inherited from a relative whose hobby was working on and restoring old amps and turntables.
