With the new Marklin and others, controllers being able to do DCC and Motorola,MFX, some of us are incorporating both 2 and 3 rail systems in our miniature worlds. This was my problem with the Marklin roller stand. It could do 3 rail, and that was that. Now this stand...... well it can do anything. DCC, AC digital and analogue on both. You do not even need to unclip anything. If running it analogue though, remember the Marklin transformers gooi AC to the track, so you would need a normal DC transformer to run the 2 rail. Beauty is, common ground wire and 1 clip for the AC powerpack and one for the DC powerpack. The stand has 3 inputs. How cool is that. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... just to show you I ran a AC digital BRAWA S2/6 and that gorgeous Rivarossi Italian E-lok to show you. By the way, the Rivarossi is beautifully balanced and very quiet. Brilliant locomotive that.....
The stand comes with 6 roller sets, and if you are keen, and want to run larger stuff, extra sets can be ordered from me. I will advice prices later as we go along. I did however run a BR45 just for shits and giggles, and it fits effortlessly.Total length from head to toe is 55cm, so it will gobble up a BigBoy like nothing. Enjoy the pics.
Postage will be R40 in the RSA or come fetch it in Benoni.
