The Church was built in 1884 by Reverend Frank Dowling and some volunteers of the congregation. In 1891 a terrible storm hit the area and the eastern gable made of sun dried bricks melted away destroying the stained glass window and ruining the altar. After the storm the Church was repaired using corrugated iron instead of the sun dried bricks. In 1991 the Church was restored including a replica of the stained glass window that was destroyed during the storm.
The kit is made from laser cut card approximately 1mm thick.
