Ja well, they are not painted very well....BUT, I have detailed some of these to really make them look like the real thing. You see, it is easy if the basic shape is right. And with these models, the basic shape is spot-on. I know, I have learned to drive on these trucks. Now, paint the indicators orange, the lights silver, and the inside of the cab black, and you have a bloody decent model. I have fitted some of these with people on the inside. It is easy to dismantle, and isn't that what this hobby is all about.... MODIFICATION! They are plastic, and that is so much better than a diecast model when it comes to weathering them. Especially with powders. It just sits. I have one that will go on a bit later to proof this statement.

Suzi cables and the like can be made with thin wire. All the models of trucks on my layout are either Wiking, Herpa, Brekina or Kibri. In my opinion they just look more realistic when weathered. AND, to me, the wheels and tyres must be double and realistic. This it is.
