On auction is a South African Railway 18E in Transnet Freight Rail livery.

This loco runs on an Athearn chassis made of metal and has drive and pickup on all wheels. It is a heavy loco and thus a very strong and smooth runner that can pull long trains.

The loco is fitted with windows, airhorns, brake hoses, light lenses, kadee couplers and Lima single arm pantographs.

Paintwork was done by airbrush with a clear cote finish to protect the decals.

This is the new Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) livery used these days.
