Description: 8 Trios in the Holland Blue Pattern by Johnson Brothers. 24 Piece Set consisting of 8 Cups, 8 Saucers and 8 Cake Plates.
The Holland Blue Scenes pattern by Johnson Brothers was first introduced in 1974. This specific production run was relatively short-lived, as the pattern was discontinued in 1978, meaning it was only manufactured for a five-year period. In the 1970s these were marketed as being dishwasher and microwave safe, reflecting the needs of modern households at the time. Made by Johnson Brothers in Stoke-on-Trent, England, the historical heart of British pottery.Made in England, 1970s.
