The Hollyland Mars M1 Enhanced combines a transmitter, receiver, and full production monitor into a single compact 5.5-inch device. The 1920x1080 touchscreen reaches up to 1000 cd/m² of brightness with accurate color calibration in the Rec.709 gamut, making it dependable for follow-focus work and director's monitoring alike.
The M1 Enhanced communicates wirelessly at a line-of-sight range of up to 450 ft (150 m) with a low latency of just 0.08 seconds, and it switches freely between transmitter and receiver modes directly from its settings menu. It's backward compatible with the Mars Pro series and Mars 4K systems, so it slots easily into a workflow built around other Hollyland Mars-series gear, and can also display feeds from the HollyView mobile app.
Connectivity includes one HDMI input with HDMI loop-out and one 3G-SDI input, supporting up to DCI/UHD 4K30 over HDMI (note: when used as a wireless transmitter, 4K30 input is downscaled to 1080p for the wireless link, since the M1 Enhanced doesn't transmit 4K wirelessly). Powered by Hollyland's HollyOS, the monitor offers a full suite of image-analysis tools, including waveform, vectorscope, zebra pattern, aspect markers, anamorphic de-squeeze, and crosshatch.
New capsule-style antennas eliminate the disassembly/reassembly hassle of earlier Mars monitors, and a 2-minute record/playback review feature lets operators instantly check back recent footage on set. At approximately 400 g, with an impact-resistant, frosted-texture body shell, the Mars M1 Enhanced supports 7-16 VDC power, L-series (NP-F970/750/550) batteries, or D-Tap power sources.
