The Hollyland Pyro 5 packs a transmitter, receiver, and full production monitor into a single 5.5-inch touchscreen device, designed for do-it-all use on set. The 1920x1080 panel hits 1500 nits of brightness, staying readable even in direct sunlight, and Rec.709 color accuracy makes it a reliable reference for focus-pulling and exposure checks alike.
Using Hollyland's Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, the Pyro 5 maintains a stable wireless link at up to 1,312 ft (400 m) with latency as low as 60 ms. In Broadcast Mode, one transmitter can feed up to four receivers at once for multi-station monitoring; in standard mode, it splits between two receivers and two mobile devices running the HollyView app.
Beyond monitoring, the touchscreen lets you directly adjust a connected camera's shutter speed, aperture, focus, white balance, and ISO turning the Pyro 5 into an on-set camera control surface. Proxy files record straight to an SD card or USB drive with embedded, camera-synced timecode for fast offline editing, and built-in RTMP support lets you livestream directly to YouTube, Facebook, or other platforms without extra encoding hardware.
3G-SDI and HDMI 1.4b inputs cover most camera setups, with an HDMI loop-out for local monitoring alongside the wireless feed. At 538 g, the Pyro 5 is light enough for handheld rigs and gimbals while still housing a full image-analysis toolset (waveform, focus assist, and more) through Hollyland's HollyOS interface. It's backward compatible with the rest of the Pyro family, including Pyro S, Pyro H, and Pyro 7.
