The Hollyland Pyro S system is a complete, ready-to-shoot 4K wireless video kit, bundling one transmitter, one receiver, seven antennas, a USB-C adapter, a DC power adapter, and an adjustable shoe-mount adapter. The transmitter accepts HDMI and SDI inputs and sends footage wirelessly to the included receiver's HDMI and SDI outputs at extremely low 50 ms latency.
Built on Hollyland's self-developed 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology, the Pyro S maintains a stable line-of-sight range of up to 1,300 ft (400 m) for normal operation, or up to 650 ft (200 m) in Broadcast Mode while feeding up to four receivers and two mobile devices simultaneously. The system supports 4K/30fps transmission over HDMI and up to 1080p60 over SDI, giving productions flexibility between resolution and frame rate.
Two transmission modes HD mode for maximum image quality at up to 12 Mb/s, and Smooth mode for dynamic low-latency performance let operators match the system to the shot. UVC plug-and-play support means the receiver can connect straight to a laptop for streaming or conferencing without a capture card, and RTMP streaming is built in for direct broadcast to platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok Live.
Constructed from lightweight, rigid magnesium-aluminum alloy with a two-speed cooling fan, the Pyro S is designed for film production, live events, and ENG/EFP work. It's backward compatible with the wider Pyro family (Pyro 5, Pyro 7, Pyro H) and remains one of Hollyland's most versatile mid-tier wireless video solutions.
