This book is in good condition for its age. The boards are in good condition with slight markings and sunning to the spine (no dj). The binding is sound. The text block is in good condition. There is foxing to the inside of the covers and the front and back free end papers.

The book is clean with no notations or inscriptions.

Useful background to each drug picture is provided by discussing it's history, source, preparation, use and comparative aspect. Dr Tyler's liberal inclusion of cases, articles and letters from multiple sources enriches each remedy picture and widens the scope of this comprehensive reference.
