Horwood Pen Collection: White Dot Black and Gold Scheaffer Pen in Original Case

This pen belonged to former SA Minister of Finance Owen Horwood. The black pen has gold-coloured trimmings, but I could not see any stamps other than Sheaffer around the bottom of the cap. It seems it was a corporate gift from the company Macsteel. See the top of the cap of the pen. The white dot that signifies the lifetime guarantee of the Schaefer pen appears on the top of the pen clip and underneath the Sheaffer brand name on the inside satin lining of the case. There is an extra recess in the case -probably for a refill. The ink in the pen is dry.
