This rarely seen book, published by the Central News Agency (CNA) of South Africa, contains a wide-ranging collection of household hints and hacks for typical situations the South African housewife might have faced around the middle of the 20th century. Practical and to the point, yet quaintly old-fashioned, this book is a delight to page through. Highly collectable. 

The copy is in very good condition, the spine is tight, the pages lightly tanned but otherwise clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is in good condition. Tanned, with minor paper loss and a few small tears, it is protected with a strong no-tape plastic cover.
