How to train Your Dragon.
DreamWorks’ ancient dragon adventure makes its way onto consoles and handhelds in this action title based on the children’s animation of the same name.
Taking on the role of either Hiccup or Astrid, players can explore the Island of Berk on their journey to becoming the ultimate Viking dragon trainer. Locations taken from DreamWorks’ animated film make an appearance, including Vikings’ Village, Wild Zone, Training Zone and Fight Arena. During their quest, players must compete in dragon tournaments to cement their place in Viking history.
Using the Create Your Own Dragon feature, players can combine elements from different dragon types in order to create their own unique beast to use in combat. Each dragon’s speed, power and fire abilities can be gradually upgraded during tournament fights. A series of mini-games are also on offer, including Looping Race, Flying Sheppard, Memory Torch and Puzzle Dragon. Experience points earned in these games can be put towards improving a player’s dragon in the main storyline.
How to Train Your Dragon lets players live out the fantasy of dragon ownership alongside the characters and locations of DreamWorks’ animation.
