HP Color LaserJet 2840 All-in-One

I bought this colour laser multifunction printer on 31/11/2005, which makes it just over 5 years old. Even though I never used it for what I had intended to, the machine nonetheless served me very well and the print output is rather fantastic.

Despite its age (and a rated duty cycle of up to 30,000 pages per month)  the printer has only printed just over 2000 pages in its entire life. In fact, it is still running on the original imaging drum and supplied  toner cartridges, all of which are still half- to a third full.

The exact usage is:

• Print Engine Total: 2064 pages (1539 mono + 525 colour, 2 jammed, 1 mispicked)
  
• Scanner Engine Total: 2832 (955 ADF + 1877 flatbed, 3 jammed)

The exact supplies status is:

Black Cartridge: 33% (estimated remaining: 1018 pages)

• Cyan Cartridge: 52% (estimated remaining: 567 pages)
• Magenta Cartridge: 52% (estimated remaining: 567 pages)
• Yellow Cartrdge: 34% (estimated remaining : 269 pages)
• Imaging Drum: 48% (estimated remaining: 5441 pages)

Why am I selling this printer? Judging by how little I have used it, as well as the potential cost of replacement toner and my current minimal need for colour output, I simply can't warrant holding on to it. Furthermore, it's a behemoth of a machine - big, bulky and heavy (+/- 40kg). Since I am moving to smaller premises later in the year, I also won't have the space to take it along.

This item is sold in its original packaging, with power cord, telephone cord, getting started guide and software CDs. Item has to be collected by buyer in Weltevreden Park, Gauteng. Bring adequate transport - this printer does not fit into most cars!
