Laptop comes as a whole but works intermittently

What do you mean intermittently ?

Then the notebook is switched on you need to press slightly above the mouse pad and the notebook will boot , it seems something is loose inside the notebook below the mouse pad

If I put something like a floss holder underneath the notebook, it will boot and you can use it like normal but otherwise it just freezes

Reason for selling ? Busy cleaning garage
