I have always had a fascination with the Topaz mined in this region – there is just something totally unique about the colour that I much prefer to the Brazilian gems which tend to be too brown for my taste. Hard to define without having one before you. The orange hues are striking and vibrant to my eye and they look magnificent in fine jewellery.
We have managed to secure just four outstanding examples and you will find them all listed here on BoB.
These astonishing specimens of Topaz were secured for HPJ by our Northern Pakistan agent and dear friend, Ijaz.
We have worked with Ijaz for quite some years now and he resides in Abbottabad with his family.
Abbottabad is a city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. It is located in the north of Islamabad on the Karakoram Highway.
Lying between soaring hills, it is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Pakistan.
